"I’d often seen The Week Junior pop up on my social media and always wondered what it was all about—so I finally decided to check it out. I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised!
We don’t usually have the news on at home. To be honest, I try to shield my children from the heavier issues in the world. I believe their young minds need nurturing, not overwhelming. I’m also very mindful of what they access online. While I know I can’t filter everything, The Week Junior has been a fantastic discovery—a truly age-appropriate and unbiased way for them to learn about the world.
It encourages curiosity and critical thinking, giving children the space to ask questions and explore new ideas. What’s more, it helps them feel part of something bigger—they can even take part in fun tasks and see their contributions published in the magazine!
I’m really looking forward to each new issue and to the thoughtful questions and conversations it sparks in our family.." - Jemma Solomon.

Even reluctant readers will find the short, engaging articles digestible and enjoyable and will find themselves reading the whole magazine in a fraction of the time they would finish a book; a great confidence boost whilst improving language and communication skills. Using the articles as a start point for discussions and debates at home is also an excellent way of improving children’s oracy – essential for personal and academic expression.

🗸 Spark their natural curiosity in the world around them
🗸 Help them see different viewpoints - and form opinions of their own
🗸 Boost their confidence as they grow their understanding
🗸 Get them reading, talking and thinking - and passionate about sharing what they learn!
