Our children will have lots of questions about what’s happening with the general election. The Week Junior will explain what’s happening, taking on the complex and confusing bits and making them clear, accessible, and interesting.

The magazine will also help them to develop essential life skills - such as learning to debate and how to express their views, as well as giving them a chance to share the issues that are most important to them.

Boost their understanding - and their confidence

The Week Junior will explain to 8 to 14-year-olds what the general election means in an accessible and interesting way. The magazine will explain the jargon, introduce the key players, explain the process of voting and break down what happens on the day itself.

  • Find out how voting works
  • Try a debate on whether voting should be compulsory
  • Go behind the scenes at a polling station
  • Discover other young people's views on the issues that matter
